About Golden B&B
Golden B&B is a small, home-from-home boarding service in St Julians, Newport, created especially for Golden Retrievers. I welcome dogs from one visiting family at a time, so there is time to get to know each dog and their individual needs.
Hello, I'm Siân
Dogs have always been part of my life, from Labradors and a Border Collie to my much-loved Golden Retrievers, Bilbo and Buddy. Today I share my home with Bridget, my friendly rescue Cavachon.
I know how important it is to feel comfortable about where your dog stays while you’re away. My aim is to offer a welcoming home, a familiar routine and plenty of individual attention.
Why the name Golden B&B?
The name celebrates Bilbo and Buddy, the Golden Retrievers who brought so much happiness into my life. This boarding service grew from my affection for the breed and a wish to provide a genuinely homely place for visiting dogs.
Bilbo and Buddy inspired the name Golden B&B and the affection for Golden Retrievers behind it.
One family of dogs at a time
Golden B&B is deliberately small. I accept one visiting family’s dogs per booking. At least one visiting dog must be a Golden Retriever, and a second dog may be another breed.
Your dogs share the everyday atmosphere of our home. There is a secure garden, space to settle indoors and a walking routine adapted to their needs and the weather.

Come and see where your dog would stay
Tell me a little about your dog, the dates you have in mind and any particular needs. We can then discuss availability and arrange a visit before a booking.
